WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
PRESTON
Preston read "The Traveler's Gifts." He loved the way the story incorporated important life lessons with individual heroes from history who had defining moments in their lives. He read "The Noticer" earlier this year that is also from the author Andy Andrews. He said he really likes the style of writing so he may be selecting another one of his books to read next.
MARISSA
Marissa participated in the winter recital for clogging this week. She was amazing and loved being in front of an audience once again. One of the dances for her team isn't quite complete yet so they performed as much as they have learned and will continue working on it until her competition in March. She's so excited to continue to work on her skills and to compete at the advanced level at national's this year!
CALEB
Caleb finished reading the book "Miracles on Maple Hill" for his Ninja Scholars class. He loved learning more about how maple syrup is made. He also loved the story and that the family got to stay an extra year. His favorite part was when Joe got goats and Marley got chickens to raise.
