WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
PRESTON
All three kids participated in a classics recital for piano this week. All semester they have been studying different composers and then each student picked a piece they wanted to perform. They did such a great job!
Preston played "Theme from Symphony No. 40" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
MARISSA
Marissa played "Waltz" by Johannes Brahms.
CALEB
Caleb played "Aria" by Johann Sebastian Bach.
WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
PRESTON
Preston had his performances for "Anastasia" this week. He did such a great job with all the singing and dancing. It was so much different than "Into the Woods" that he was a part of last semester and it was fun to watch him learn so many different skills this semester.
MARISSA
Marissa finished her Heroes project. She created a book with drawings and details about each of the heroes she chose to highlight. It turned out so well! She is so excited to have such a great memory.
CALEB
Caleb wanted a little adventure and some new books to read so we spent a couple of hours reading quietly at the public library. Then we checked out a whole bin full of books to bring home and read together. It was such a great day with lots of great stories!
WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
PRESTON
Preston has had a rough couple of months dealing with some things outside of school. So we added in some extra reading with his regular school load. He LOVED them all!
MARISSA
Marissa had three performances of "As You Like It" for Shakespeare this week. She was AMAZING!! She was the lead and had 250 lines playing the part of Rosalind. It was so much fun to watch her on stage!
CALEB
Caleb read the book "Clara Barton" for his Ninja Scholars class. He participated in the book discussion in class as well as played on a team with trivia questions. His team wins every single time!
