WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS

PRESTON

Preston has been working on learning to edit audio files in his digital media arts 2 class.  He was given a script and had to put a radio ad together.  He did such a good job with it.  He received such positive feedback from his teacher and was so proud of his work.  I'm so glad he has found a class he really loves to add to his core classes this year!

MARISSA

Marissa participated in the Georgics marketplace event at Polar Star.  She made earrings, bookmarks, and keychains out of resin to sell.  She also made homemade scrunchies that she sewed.  And she topped it all off with popcorn and peanut butter bars at her snack shack.  She made $256 in one day and was so proud of herself!  She had such a great time and learned so much about being an entrepreneur.  She plans to continue making things out of resin and sewing more scrunchies to sell at other markets and possibly online.  

CALEB

Caleb finished reading the "I Survived" book series.  He loved it and was so disappointed that he would need to find a new book or series to read.  He learned so much about so many different events in history.  I was so fun to watch him enjoy them all!
