WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
PRESTON
Preston has been working on his editing skills for his digital media arts class again. He was able to use his skills from last semester to create a thumbnail for YouTube using PhotoShop. He also got to work on the quality of his audio and editing using Adobe audition. He put together a YouTube video for his channel that posted this week. His teacher was very impressed with how much he has improved over the past several months. It's fun to watch him progress and enjoy something so much!
MARISSA
Marissa has been under the weather this week so she has been working on more things from home. She decided to work on her crochet project that she was given in Georgics a couple of weeks ago when we talked about the Georgic principle of perseverance. She has definitely been learning all about perseverance during her extra time with hand crafts. She also took advantage of the time she had to listen to an audiobook. She has been listening to "A Long Walk to Water," which is her book for colloquia this month. She is really liking the book thus far.
CALEB
Caleb had a fun week preparing for Valentine's Day. He was so excited to come up with a fun box and decided on a dragon. Then he went to work finding recycled materials he could use to create his vision. He did such a good job and was excited he could bring together the dragon theme especially since he is a DaVinci Dragon this year and will also be part of the play "Imagine a Dragon" in April. What a fun week!
