WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
PRESTON
Preston and Marissa both read "Make Your Bed" and watched a documentary called "Mully" in preparation for Polar Star kickoff day. They both loved learning about how small things can make a big difference and also how one person can make a difference.
Preston has also been working on writing a lot more. He writes for his language arts assignments, but also has been writing scripts for short movies or YouTube. It keeps him busy wherever we go.
MARISSA
Marissa attended Polar Star kickoff on Thursday last week. She loved the book and movie for colloquia, loved the ropes course they did in the morning, was excited to help with the service project, and had a great time participating in water activities. It was so much fun to make new friends and meet up with old ones as well! It was such a great day!
CALEB
Caleb loves math! He is using Beast Academy as his main math curriculum this year, but also get time to play games on Prodigies online. He loves playing math games and reading math books as well. This week, he was reading through a math dictionary so we spent some time learning about circles, angles and the protractor. He was so excited to learn something he didn't know about yet.
