WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS

PRESTON

Preston decided to watch and listen to most of the Shakespeare plays with Marissa even though he isn't part of the Shakespeare class this year.  He really enjoyed "Twelfth Night."  

Preston participated in a group lesson piano recital this week.  The focus was on pop songs that everyone chose.  He did a great job! 

MARISSA

Marissa spent a big part of her week last week watching and listening to Shakespeare plays.  She was part of the "Race to Royalty" for her Shakespeare class.  She was so excited to get crowned a queen the first day of class!  

Her favorites so far are "Twelfth Night," "Taming of the Shrew," "Comedy of Errors," and "A Midsummer Night's Dream."  

Marissa also participated in a group lesson piano recital this week.  She loved it!

CALEB

Caleb is focusing a lot on handwriting this year.  It has been a difficult skill for him to acquire so he is spending extra time working on it every day.  Fine motor skills have taken him so much effort to acquire.  We are so proud of his work in this area even though it is not an easy task for him.  

This was Caleb's first piano recital as a private lesson student since he graduated from group keyboards last year.  He did a great job learning his song and playing in front of his peers.

OTHER

DINOSAURS

Marissa and Caleb received a fossil kit so they got to dig and excavate this week.  They loved finding each of the fossils and then matching them up in the display box.  They also got out multiple fossil and dinosaur books to learn more while they were in total fossil mode.
