WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS

PRESTON

Preston just finished the online portion of his Driver's Ed class and is so excited.  He's been doing a lesson four times a week for several months.  He's also been driving and practicing in the real world as much as he can.  He can't wait to schedule his observation driving hours and then take the road test and written test so he can get his license!  

MARISSA

Marissa earned her sword at a really special sword ceremony.  She worked so hard all semester in class and finished at the top so she got to lead the Union in their march and songs. She also read her Hero report in front of everyone.  It did a great job!  

Marissa also had the opportunity to perform in the handbell choir several times over the past few weeks.  She is learning so much about music, theory and rhythm to make the songs come together beautifully.

CALEB

Caleb had his belt test for karate.  He was an orange belt and tested to earn his blue belt.  He worked so hard to be ready and did such a great job with all his katas, weapons and self-defense.  It was so awesome that Preston could be there as a black belt sensei for Caleb's big day!

PIANO RECITAL

The kids all performed at a parlor piano recital over the break.  They worked so hard on their pieces and did such a great job!
