WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS

PRESTON

Preston has been working on a YouTube video for his filmmaking and editing class.  He loves learning about new editing techniques and getting every detail just the way he wants it.  

MARISSA

Marissa read "To Kill a Mockingbird" for her Sword of Freedom class.  She really loved the book.  

She also finished all 38 Shakespeare plays.  She read, listened to or watched all 38 plays to become an "empress" for her Shakespeare Conquest class.  It was so much work on top of all her other classes and subjects, but it was an amazing accomplishment.  She was so happy to complete a big goal that she set for herself at the beginning of the school year.  

CALEB

Caleb finsihed reading "Harriet Tubman" for his book discussion in Ninja Scholars.  He really loved learning about the Underground Railroad so we got a couple extra books from the library to learn even more about that period of time in US history.  

OTHER

SEAQUEST

We had a great time on a field trip to Seaquest.  The kids each got 5 tokens to spend to feed animals.  Caleb loved feeding the sting rays and having fish nibble at his feet.  One of our favorite parts was the iguana.  He LOVED being fed by the kids and they were all able to pet him.  Such a great day!
