WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
PRESTON
Preston gave a presentation on city-states in Greece for in his Classical Acting class. It was 15 minutes long. He did such a great job explaining what different city-states were, how they had their own type of government, religion, etc. He also talked a little bit about wars between city-states in Greece in 400BC.
MARISSA
CALEB
Caleb read "James and the Giant Peach" for his personal reading. He loved it and was excited to watch the movie after he finished the book.
He also worked on inspirements for his Ninja Scholars class. He researched dances from the South Pacific islands and told his class about the Kailao, which is a dance from Tonga. He also learned that the Samoan Slap Dance started with men slapping at mosquitoes on their body and it became a traditional dance performed by men from there.
