WEEKLY HIGHLIGHTS
PRESTON
Preston had a recital for piano the first week in April. It was a casual recital for April Fool's Day. All the kids learned classic songs and the story behind the song. They loved it! Preston played the "Barber of Seville" that comes from an opera about a crazy barber. He did a great job.
MARISSA
Marissa also had a piano recital this week. Her song was "Rage Over a Lost Penny" by Ludwig Beethoven. She played it fast and with lots of feeling to show how mad he was that he had lost his penny. It was a fun recital!
Preston and Marissa also attended their quarterly youth colloquia. They discussed the book "True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle." Both of them loved the book!
CALEB
Caleb had a really fun Heroic Youth class this week. He learned all about castles in Medievil Times. He had so much fun building a castle and a catapult!
